Bill Moyers is a modern day Prophet and Voice Crying In the Vast Wilderness that is our visual media called TV. Many of us in Dayton and Cincinnati traveled to Washington DC to protest6 with at least 1/2 million other folks -- both Arabs and Jews about the terrible "war" between Palestine and Israel at that time == the beginning of the Bush presidency. It was an awesome March for Peace -- to no avail. The Israeli/Palestine war continues with brief breaks in the action. This latest siege appears to have been fashioned after our Shock and Awe on the people of Iraq. Would that we in the U.S. could proffer Peaceful solutions to the world instead of the "bully" mode of bombs and incendiaries and chemical clouds. I am hopeful that President Obama will take a good long look at our War History and the Outcomes of all the Killing and Maiming -- and perhaps encourage talking, diplomacy, and the Way of Peace.
