The Man Behind The Bush
This photo from a New York Times article regarding a Bush White House ‘news briefing’ sure has some creepy overtones. It seems to sum up rather metaphorically the nature of the relationship of power at work here. Cheney the puppet master lurking behind the Bush, so to speak, keeping a watchful eye from the shadows.

haha…
My personal favorite was the NYT’s “anti-drug” PSA introduction. If we as a nation were in any way interested in keeping our country “drug free”, we would start by keeping cokeheads from becoming “commander-in-chief” in a “time of war” and sadists out of the vice-presidential shadows. But then again, the “three-strikes you’re out” mandatory legislative sentencing applies marginally to “niggers” in L.A. pushing marijuana; not to the white “future leaders of America” who pimp our nation out to global corporations with “un-American” interests focused on Prozac, ATT&T Communications, CHASE Manhattan Banks, CONAGRA/CARGILL Foods, and post-NAFTA trade allegiances.
Power to the people – red, yellow, black or white – just so long as they aren’t Democrats or Republicans. If nothing else, I hope to see the day when PSA’s such as the one that introduced by this laughable (yet sinister) photo are regarded as nothing more than racist propaganda. If there is any hope for our “republic”, it is not drawn by any lines of color. The American Revolution continues, and will do so without racial divides. Pick your side - colorless or wrong.
