It is interesting in its contrast to Orwell’s dystopian vision of a society of external control and coercion, as opposed to the one we seem to be increasingly emersed in today, the one of Huxley’s.

Neil Postman’s prescient observations on cyberculture, and living in a world of information glut, is particularly telling (and somewhat chilling).
