Kevin is correct in that this whole madrassa story is a sham, though I am incredulous as to what the point of his statement is in implying that somehow the posting of this phony email is in some way endorsing it or trying to promote it. Actually it is just the opposite. We at USTV do indeed try our best to 'do our homework', thus the whole point of the labeling of this junk politispam email as another form of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swiftboating" rel="nofollow">'swiftboating'</a> by the anonymous entities which are spreading it, in order to discredit the political legitimacy of Barack Obama. I figured that providing a Snopes link thoroughly debunking this nonsense would have been a clue as to our take on it. It is posted in order to bring more enlightenment to the extent of disinformation and its mode of transmission via the internet that these underhanded political operatives will use to smear and distort political figures that they see as potential threats to their own self-serving interests. Hopefully, readers will learn by such examples to apply a more critical perspective to the information they receive regarding these issues, and where this information comes from.

This phony madrassa story has been discredited for at least two months. CNN sent a reporter to Indonesia and found the school in question to be a secular school with students of many different religions. Do you do your homework? Why are you spreading this further? Unless you are part of thee swiftboating?
